After a few years wait my name suddenly came up for an allotment in North Somerset.

It came at a perfect time in my life when I needed a new direction and the allotment was the turning point which set me on my path to a career in Horticulture. 

​

There is nothing more satisfying than a day working on the land, digging the soil, sowing seed and eventually harvesting your crop.

​

Such a sense of inner peace and satisfaction.
