Candide Gardening July Photo Competition Winner

Absolutely delighted to have won Candide Gardening's July photo competition in the 'wildlife' category.

My photo was taken early summer whilst gardening when I spotted a peacock butterfly feeding on buddleja 'Buzz Magenta.' Such a treat to see nature going about its daily routine, oblivious to us humans. The colours of both the butterfly and buddleja were so vivid, they really struck a cord with me.

I will be the proud winner of a printed canvas of my photo and some mixed seeds which will I plant and share next year when they bloom.
