Gardening for Disabled Trust Charity Book
Received some very exciting post! I ordered a copy of ’Cuttings’ sold in aid of Gardening for Disabled Trust. I am very proud to have four tips featured in this beautiful book, described as “a cornucopia of gardening tips from famous, expert & green-fingered friends.’
Forward by Alan Titchmarsh and includes tips from Carol Klein, Roy Lancaster, Joanne Lumley, Dame Helen Mirren, Mark Lane, James Alexander-Sinclair, Christine Walkden, Nick Hamilton, Julian Clary, Helen Yemm, Simon Lycett, Isabella Tree, Professor Stefan Buczacki and Alan Titchmarsh...to name a few!
My tips include woman's nylon tights (seriously!), ground cover to suppress weeds, the importance of getting your hands in the soil and a recipe for chocolate courgette cake.

June 2019 I was asked to write a guest blog post for the trust. Click the link below to read about how to make gardening easier for people with reduced mobility and the positive effects of gardening on mental health.
